Position: Regional Business Development Executives

Business Context: Symptai Consulting is a 26-year-old consulting firm that provides companies with Assurance and Compliance services in cybersecurity, Digital/Business Transformation, Data Privacy & Protection, Anti-Money Laundering, and IT Governance services. We serve 300+ companies primarily across the following verticals and segments:

  • Finance (Banks, Bill Payments, Central Bank, Credit Bureaus, Credit Unions, FinTech Investments, Remittances);

  • Government (Education, Planning, Regulators, Technology, Vital Statistics, and Insurance);

  • Education (Universities);

  • Insurance (General and Life);

  • Transportation (Airlines, Toll Operators, Valuators);

  • Hospitality (Hotels and Food & Beverage); and

  • Manufacturing, Distribution, Telecoms, Legal (Law Firms and Practices) and Entertainment (Gaming).

Through a strategic partnership with Digicel (Business Solutions), we have targeted six (6) key markets (Trinidad, Barbados, Cayman, Bermuda, TCI, Guyana) for aggressive growth over the next 18 to 24 months and planned market entry and expanded footprint for four others.

What’s needed is a flawlessly executed program for positioning the unique solutions and combination of value offerings from both companies through active marketing and engagement, education, and training.

 

Job Summary

The Contractor will be responsible for executing presales and sales strategies to position solutions that increase the customer base exponentially & grow market share in the targeted markets – on the ground.

 

Responsibilities

  • Achieve individual sales targets and market-specific targets for key accounts and markets.

  • Develop, maintain, and leverage local partnerships and associations to advance brand equity.

  • Take the customer through a value-offering journey to sustain the customer relationship as their IT infrastructure matures.

  • Maintain an easy transition from presales to delivery to customer satisfaction measurement to re-engagement for the next value offering while sustaining an effective internal and client feedback loop.

  • Build and maintain an understanding of Symptai’s service offerings and Digicel Business’ Products and Solutions to present value solutions to customers and support Account Executives in advancing MQLs to sales.

  • Own a successful local presales process to include prospecting, proposal development, nurture to sale and report on performance KPIs and metrics.

  • Execute strategy for customer acquisition and customer retention and report on performance KPIs and metrics.

  • Execute self-learning and development to then lead and motivate Account Executives and influence the performance of the team.

  • Deliver monthly sales and revenue targets.

  • Work with Symptai Marketing to maintain a library of client-facing artefacts for positioning and communicating value offerings and services.

 

Requirements

  • Experience in Sales Management and Sales leadership.

  • Knowledge of Information Technology, Cyber and Information Security services and solutions, and Business Process Re-engineering.

  • Strong negotiating, budgeting, and operational skills.

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Understands the business implications of decisions; displays an orientation to value; and demonstrates knowledge of market segments, trends, and competitors.

  • Effectively utilizes CRM Sales tools and works toward performance KPIs and metrics.

  • Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills to communicate ideas and information in an attention-getting manner.

  • Commitment to strong personal values.

  • An original thinker and creative who meets challenges with resourcefulness.

  • A solutions-focused thinking style with suggestions for improving work, applying innovative approaches, and executing ideas.

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Management, Computer Science or related field.

  • At least five (5) years’ experience in selling IT solutions.

  • At least three years in a leadership/senior role.

  • Experience in dealing with Senior leadership and C-level executives internally and with customers.

  • A proven track record of meeting and exceeding audacious targets.
