Symptai is hiring a Sales & Marketing Executive (Events) to build awareness and uptake for our Data Privacy training courses and other events designed to drive greater engagement among our client base. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who is able to work with a number of internal and external stakeholders to drive event attendance. We also expect you to be a driven and motivated with an analytical mind and strong problem-solving skills.

The Application Support manager plays a critical role in ensuring that end-user customers receive an incredible experience. You are an advocate for the client while managing client expectations within the limits of end-user client obligations. You possess a sufficient understanding of the business and technical requirements to lead a team of support analysts in providing the best possible application of the client’s solutions across all their product offerings for the end-user.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, hospitality, or related field preferred

  • 2 – 3 years of sales experience

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills

  • Manage the Events website page and social media channels with due regard for corporate brand guidelines and strategic direction

  • Manage efficient and timely record entry into the CRM system and database

  • Research and build relationships with prospects for new business opportunities

  • Identify potential clients through networking initiatives, cold-calling, and e-mail communications

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients by providing information, support, and guidance

  • Listen to client requirements and present appropriate services

  • Prepare regular sales reports as well as sales territory plans

  • Develop innovative sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets

  • Stay current with trends in technology, data privacy, and competitors to identify improvements or recommend new approaches

  • Support the smooth implementation of the Events marketing plan

  • Support the events team daily - this may include but is not exclusive to - managing new clients; receiving inbound inquiries: conducting site visits and recording and managing booking details as required

  • Drive first-class customer service and a process of continuous improvement through feedback collation and distribution, agreed on action plans, and improved communications across the Events departments
